Website Color Palette Extractor

Inspect color values declared in a public page response. AiFolder blocks local/private network targets and does not execute the target page's JavaScript.

AiFolder reads the public HTML response and extracts declared CSS colors. It does not run page JavaScript or access private-network addresses.

About the Website Color Palette Extractor

Inspect a public HTML response and collect declared hex and RGB colors. The tool is designed for quick palette reconnaissance, not pixel-perfect visual extraction.

How to inspect a website palette

  1. 1

    Enter a public URL

Paste an http or https website URL. Localhost, private networks, credentials, and custom ports are blocked.

  2. 2

    Fetch the HTML

AiFolder requests the public page without executing its JavaScript.

  3. 3

    Review detected colors

The tool counts declared hex and RGB values and sorts the most frequent colors first.

  4. 4

    Verify against the live page

Check the result against the real website because runtime CSS or JavaScript-only styles may not appear in the HTML response.

Website palette questions

Does the extractor take a screenshot?

No. It inspects the returned HTML and declared color values rather than rendering a screenshot.

Why can some website colors be missing?

External stylesheets, CSS-in-JS, runtime themes, or JavaScript-rendered styles may not be present in the initial HTML response.

Can it access internal websites?

No. Private, local, loopback, and metadata-network destinations are blocked.

FAQ

website color palette questions

?Why might extracted colors differ from the page I see?

A site may load images, themes, or styles dynamically. Treat extracted colors as a starting point and compare them with the rendered site.

?Does extracting a palette copy the entire website design?

No. Color values do not include typography, spacing, imagery, or component behavior. Build those decisions separately.
