Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information AiFolder may process when you browse the site, use a tool, create an account, save content, submit a resource, or contact us.

Effective and last updated:October 2, 2026

1. Information you provide

  • Account information such as email address, display name, username, profile details, and authentication-related identifiers when you create or use an account.
  • Content you choose to save or submit, which may include notes, folders, collections, tool submissions, profile content, preferences, and other user-provided material.
  • Messages and supporting information you send when you contact AiFolder for support, corrections, privacy requests, feedback, or partnerships.

2. Information generated when you use AiFolder

Like most web services, AiFolder may receive technical information needed to deliver and protect the service. The exact data can vary by feature and infrastructure.

  • Request and device information such as IP address, browser type, operating system, language, timestamps, requested URLs, referral information, and similar technical signals.
  • Usage information such as page visits, interactions, errors, performance measurements, and feature usage where analytics or operational logging is enabled.
  • Session, cookie, or local-storage data used for sign-in, preferences, security, feature state, or performance.

3. How we use information

  • Provide and operate AiFolder features.
  • Save, synchronize, personalize, and retrieve content you choose to associate with your account.
  • Secure accounts and infrastructure, investigate abuse, and diagnose failures.
  • Improve usability, search, relevance, performance, and product quality.
  • Review submissions, respond to support, handle corrections, and communicate about service-related matters.
  • Comply with applicable legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service.

4. Service providers and data sharing

AiFolder may use third-party infrastructure and software providers to run the service. These providers may process information on our behalf for functions such as hosting, databases, authentication, analytics, email delivery, storage, security, and content delivery.

We do not describe a provider as receiving every category of data simply because it is part of our stack. What a provider receives depends on the feature you use and how the service is configured.

  • We may disclose information when required by law or a valid legal process.
  • We may disclose information when reasonably necessary to protect users, AiFolder, or the security and integrity of the service.
  • If AiFolder is reorganized, acquired, or transfers part of its business, relevant information may be transferred as part of that transaction subject to applicable law.

5. Third-party tools and external links

AiFolder lists and links to independent third-party products. When you leave AiFolder or use a third-party service, that provider's terms and privacy policy apply. AiFolder does not control how an independent provider handles your information.

6. Cookies and local storage

Cookies and similar browser storage may be used for authentication, session continuity, preferences, security, feature state, analytics, and performance. Browser settings can be used to block or clear storage, but doing so may affect features that depend on it.

7. Data retention and deletion

We aim to keep information only for as long as it is reasonably needed for the purpose it was collected, for service operation, security, dispute resolution, or legal obligations. Different data can have different retention periods.

Where a feature allows you to remove content directly, you can use that feature. For account or privacy requests that are not self-service, contact us. Some information may need to be retained when required for security, legal, fraud-prevention, or operational reasons.

8. Your choices and privacy requests

Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have rights relating to access, correction, deletion, portability, restriction, objection, or withdrawal of consent. These rights are not identical in every jurisdiction.

To make a privacy request, email [email protected] and describe the request clearly. We may need to verify that the request relates to you before acting on account-specific information.

9. Security

AiFolder uses technical and organizational measures intended to reduce unauthorized access, loss, misuse, or alteration of information. No internet service can guarantee absolute security, so users should also protect account credentials and devices.

10. International processing

AiFolder and its service providers may operate infrastructure in more than one country. As a result, information may be processed outside the country where you live, subject to applicable legal requirements.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the product, infrastructure, or legal requirements change. The date at the top of this page will be updated when a revised policy becomes effective.

12. Contact

For privacy questions or requests concerning access, correction, or deletion of data, email [email protected] and clearly identify the request as privacy-related.
