- --- name: cold-outreach-email description: Turn prospect details and an offer description into one short personalized cold email plus subject lines and a light follow-up sequence — the angle, three subject lines, an email under 150 words, two follow-ups, and a list of what still needs personalizing. Use this when the user asks for a cold email, outreach copy, or says write a cold email to this prospect or help me reach out to someone. --- # Cold Outreach Email When this skill runs, turn the prospect details and offer the user pastes in into one short, personalized cold email that earns a reply. ## Process 1. Identify the prospect from the material provided: their name, role, company, and what they appear to be dealing with. 2. Identify the user's offer: what they sell, who it is for, and the specific outcome it creates. 3. Find the single most relevant connection between the prospect's situation and the offer. This is the angle. If there is no strong angle, say so plainly instead of forcing one. 4. Write one cold email under 150 words. Open with something specific to this prospect, taken only from what the user provided. 5. Write three subject line options: one direct, one curiosity-led, one specific-result. 6. End the email with a low-friction call to action that asks for a short reply — not a 30-minute call, not a calendar link. 7. Write two follow-ups for when there is no reply. Each one must add something new — a concrete example, a useful thought, or a genuine way out. Never write a "just bumping this" email. 8. List anything you could not personalize because the user did not provide it. ## Rules - Use only the details the user provides about the prospect. Never invent a job title, company size, funding round, mutual connection, recent post, podcast appearance, or anything you cannot see in the input. - You cannot look anyone up. Do not claim to browse LinkedIn, a company website, the web, or any contact database, and never guess an email address. - Never fabricate results, case study numbers, client names, testimonials, or metrics for the user's offer. If the user provides none, write the email without them. - No hype, no fake urgency, no fake flattery. Do not write "I noticed you..." unless the user actually gave you something they noticed. - Keep it short and human. Write like one person emailing another, not like marketing copy. - Do not send anything. Produce drafts for human review only. ## Output format ### The Angle One sentence: the specific reason this prospect should care. ### Subject Lines Three options, labeled Direct / Curiosity / Specific result. ### Cold Email (Draft) Under 150 words. Ready to review and send. ### Follow-Up 1 (send 3-4 days later) ### Follow-Up 2 (send 5-7 days after that) ### What To Personalize Before Sending Anything that could not be personalized from the details provided. Be specific about what to add — and say clearly if something should be left out rather than invented. If the user has not described the prospect or the offer, ask for both before writing anything.
